Brace is a successful entrepreneur who has been the President/CEO of Decipherst, Inc. since its inception in July 2006. Decipherst has developed unmatched composite armor technologies and manufacturing processes, which are revamping the entire military helmet and police armor markets. The company boasts the first helmet, which will stop the AK-47 round. The company is currently pursuing applications for their light-weight composite technologies in the automotive, aerospace and sports industries.

Previously, Brace co-founded Tax Recovery Group, Inc. in 2001 as its founding President. TRG consisted of two closely related companies with over 600 consultants and 4000 clients nationwide, which was the largest independent tax consultant force in the Country.

Brace has worked extensively in the leadership development field as a speaker and trainer and has had students from many of the Fortune 500. As part of his leadership development practice he has created tools for complex decision making and strategy development based on Sun Tzu’s Art of War and the Army’s battle-staff planning model. He is the author of the book No Excuse Leadership, Lessons From the U.S. Army’s Elite Rangers. (J. Wiley and Sons, 2004) His books have been published internationally and he is sought as a speaker and trainer around the world.

Brace is a 1987 graduate of West Point and the U.S. Army’s Airborne and Ranger Schools. He finished at the top of his Basic and Advanced Armor courses and the Russian Language training at the Defense Language Institute. In over 11 years of active service, he led combat and other units around the world, including near the Korean DMZ and multiple posts throughout the United States, including Ft. Lewis Washington, where lead multiple platoons with 1^st of the 9^th CAV “Headhunters.”   Brace, with his wife and three children live in Colorado Springs, Colorado
