Olessia Smotrova-Taylor is president and CEO of OST Global Solutions, Inc. www.ostglobalsolutions.com, and a practicing capture and proposal manager. Her company provides consulting support and training, helping businesses grow by winning government proposals. OST’s client list includes three of the top five govt. contracting firms, and a variety of other mid-tier and small businesses.

Ms. Smotrova-Taylor has 15 years of experience in proposal and capture management, marketing, and communications. She has prepared more than 100 proposals, winning over $10 billion of new business with a win rate of 94%. Her skills span virtually every proposal function, from business growth strategy to customer-focused marketing, capture planning, proposal management, technical writing, graphics, editing, and production. She has developed and documented capture and proposal management methodologies that save time and money while yielding consistently high success rates.

Prior to founding her own company, Ms. Smotrova-Taylor won business for Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, and wrote for the Financial Times of London. She speaks seven languages. She graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a B.A. in International Affairs. She currently lives with a husband and two children in Silver Spring, Maryland.
